I actually listened to this a few more times and it clicked as good for me, not amazing, just good. 

Now this is the a comeback song !!! Easily Ava's most radio-friendly single since Diamonds & Dancefloor era. It's too bad Ava lost a lot of momentum otherwise this would have been a cute top 40 hit post - Kings & Queens

What is going on at her label to position this as some big comeback single yet they cant get off their asses to actually help playlist it majorly and perform well

i mean i love 'lost your faith' but i thought that this was an instant hit 

she makes bops for the art not charts

its been 7 years, 3 managements and yet still no one knows how to build her image and make her likeable to the gp

this is so catchy sounds like a born this way cut at times..........but definitely not a comeback single in the year 2025 whatsoever, its giving woman's world with a harder beat

I wonder if the "wet, hot American dream" on the newspaper has anything to do with the album. Not the newspaper being called Maxxx News though 

 

 

This song has passed the "GP Test," for me: While I was at the dentist's office getting a cleaning, it came on  Perhaps it will smash, after all 

she's performing at 'Macy's 4th of July Fireworks'

 

I can really see this becoming a very slow burn hit but her record label should be patient and keep pushing on it

This is DOA because no one knows she released this. She should be performing this and engaging the GP because her fanbase is not strong enough to give this momentum as someone who thoroughly enjoyed the past 2 albums, it hurts to watch her fizzle away

she never actively promotes her songs She could perform at some pride events this month, but has nothing booked. She doesn't even have any festival scheduled this year.

I find this is the case with a lot of modern stars. Bring back intense promo!! Look how it worked for Dua during FN and Chappell all of last year. We need late night shows, festivals, award shows, and even Ikea parking lot shows
