Surely No Strings Attached is eligible for more than 12xP if it was certified 11x in 2001. Kinda wild that it went Diamond in just over 8 months even if shipments may have played a role in that.

Bye Bye Bye remains their biggest hit.

1999-2000 was the peak of album sales. Lots of albums were reaching diamond during that time period. Then they declined really fast after that. 

This I Promise You, such a breathtaking classic.

I can totally picture that for pure sales but not SPS when Bye Bye Bye (over 1B on Spotify alone) and It's Gonna Be Me remain iconic to this day. Surely the album has done more than 2 million units in 24 years when sales and streams are taken into account.

Surprisingly - probably not.

Loose sold 2.1M pure and despite huge streams it only went to 3x Platinum, Fergie's "The Dutchess" went from 4x to 5x platinum and same with Beyonce's "Dangerously In Love"

Yeah. It's undercertified. According to chartmasters it sold 12.7 million pure

By 2015 the US units of No Strings Attached were around 13 million (without music club sales) so it could be 14x Platinum
