Legal fees are peanuts. Breach of contract lawsuit will be peanuts after years of inactivity. And their comeback would have been as anticipated as gta6. They could have done anything, while still perfecting their skills with personal trainers. They could have waited it out mostly unscathed.

 

Now? Their reputation is gone. It's as if they lied about everything. A permanent stain. And for what? The company still hates them and all their staff is gone. The comebacks will suck, the music will suck, the styling will suck, everything will suck. Dud after dud. And If they thought they were discriminated against and bullied before, it's going to be much worse.

This would the worst case scenario if they do come back now. Any semblance of creative control will be gone and BSH will try to mold them to his liking. Ew.

Everyone is going to be watching like a hawk to see how the company treats them, so I doubt they will mess anything up for the girls and give them a case to leave. I don't think that it will be a stain on them because at the end of the day they're one of the most popular K-pop groups ever, and as soon as they release a new hit and people see Haerin's face, everything will be forgotten. Even the hybe stans are talking **** but not protesting them coming back. They are one of hybe's biggest money makers which is why they're desperate to have them back. All they need is to retain the music quality.
