The whole reputation system actually made the issue worse. Echoing popular opinions for likes, silencing any unpopular opinions through dislikes. And while bringing nothing positive to the table. Even the worst trolls have positive reputation

Yes in good and bad ways. I like being shielded from having a heteronormative "GP" perspective on music forced on me and it's nice to be in a space where we mostly listen to artists that are more popular with queer and female audiences. On the other hand this place has some very obsessive people who have no sense of humor and are quite unhinged/angry.
 

Some of them have really bigoted and extremist attitudes that get normalized here. It goes both ways and sometimes I really can't stand the people here while at other times I'm reminded that there are regular, sane people on here who enjoy having a laugh and talking about music (other than chart stats and stupid stan wars from 2010) and that's hard to find online imo everywhere has become to shouty.
