Maybe in 2009/2010 this would've smashed. But yeah, it's kinda her worst album thus far. There's better album tracks on both Witness and Smile. Crazy how she declined even more than those offerings.  Dr Luke needs to be taken out.

If it's an indie artist releasing, then yes it's not that bad, but if it's released by one of the biggest artists (or used to) then it should be dragged through the mud. For an veteran artist, this is simply not acceptable for an artist to create such soulless work when you're almost 20 years in this industry.

Overall the album is great

Even despite the whole Dr. Luke situation, it's falls far below of delivering. 
 

It's a very bland, generic and lifeless album. It makes Witness and Smile look like solid records. Nothing about is really excels!
