Just listened to the previews on apple music nz. As expected a very ballad to mid tempo album unfortunately. Even then there is no ballad that instantly catched me in the sense of Gravity - Love You to Death - Raise Up (which were always like sister songs to me that I looooooove).

 

 

I am still excited for the whole thing though. Anybody Else and Stars sounded quite intruiging.

 

From the singles I was not overly imporessed even though I like both Somebody`s Daughter and Midnight Trash. Show You Love has not clicked yet tho...

Oh I miss the days when self titled came out. I listened to the previews sooo often and stayed up all night waiting for the leak to finally surface.. Good old days

The mixing is pretty amateur, cause she's probably paying from her pocket. 

Very dull and empty body of work.

I think she can reach a top 100, she sold around 600 albums thanks to her lunch shows. The album was included with the tickets. Probably sold them to those who had already preordered to album before, but it's still 600 easy sales.

Look, she was probably all over herself. First two singles went #1, first album sold 1 million copies. She thought she could do anything.

WDYTM was skipped on her greatest hits album, lol. (I like the song, but the music video was a try-hard.)

That compilation was such a mess, WDYTMF and Lay Me Down (2 of her best and 1 was top 10) skipped to include album tracks and covers?

Her second album was a huge mistake, so all over the place

 

she would be in a different place if her self titled was also her 2nd album, would be a nice progress from TIU

 

You know what's is funny? her A&R was the same who he is behind Dua's ascension, the same guy who helped her make Future Nostalgia
