Popular Post _Fey Posted March 13 Popular Post Posted March 13 Gays today would see the Frozen music video and then the Ray of Light album cover afterwards and be like "none of this is cohesive, this is all so badly planned, I thought she was going for a gothic look? There were clearly last minute changes, probably because the songs aren't going #1 " 12 3 8 1

Vermouth Posted March 13 Posted March 13 Love the title. Cover really good ( photo of her diving though just totally amazing)

The Britpop influence has been mentioned since the rollingstone interview so it’s not new information. Also the press release today mentioned exploring sounds of “psychedelia, trip hop and Britpop”
Magickarp Posted March 13 Posted March 13 You can hear his voice in the teaser she posted & “A few years ago, a friend introduced me to the term Radical Optimism.” — Dua Lipa. “I read this book that I fell in love with called Radical Compassion.” —Shawn Mendes, 2020 interview. My baby inspiring the title
liquiddiamonds Posted March 13 Posted March 13 (edited) Loved the title and the aesthetic. Didn’t get blue from the music, but it is a psychedelic color. Its pretty much a Tame Impala color too I’m sure the third single will come more aligned with the album aesthetics and Houdini and TS will seem more like appetizers and transitional, because they were giving more black and moody for sure, but then it’s winter in the northern hemisphere and these blue and summer-ish aesthetics would feel out of place (not in may) Edited March 13 by liquiddiamonds

Drowned8World Posted March 13 Posted March 13 yeah i'll keep my expectations low because the first 2 singles were just ok for me. If those are the strongest songs out of 11... idk.
