I like Tate McRae's music since all my friends are fake, and that was a long time ago.

She secured the bag with smasher You Broke me First. She got her debut with bunch of streams but none of them 'felt' like cultural moment and a hit.

She finally got hit in her current era Think Later with greedy. She did Pop Girl 101 sexing up her image, being seductive in every chance she gets,

but I cant seem to see fanbase. her biggest tweet fan handle gets no comments.

 

I cannot figure out if Tate McRae secured her fanbase or if she just has a lot of streams cause of social media like TikTok. 

 

What is ATRL thought on this? Am I oblivious to fanbase and where they at?

 

With my research I only found some straight guys fapping to her, not actually being familiar with her music.

tbh you cant get 'sense' of fanbase on insta cause majority of those can be those fappers

tour starts in April, I see tickets available and venues are up to 2K-3K to 5k people so shes very niche I guess

Her team still doesn't know what to do. Doing cute tiktoks is not enough. She should be giving interviews, attending events or doing more live performances. At least a deluxe version with a new lead single or a remix of Exes with an A-list dude.

I had a feeling her team WENT ALL OUT this era, shes rn posted on Amazon music artist stories, got VOGUE and Allure, performed at Billboard music awards, Jingle Bell ball, showed up at Z100 NY, Tom Power, Bru on the radio, Ryan Secreast, I heart Radio, is tanned 24/7 and posts tiktok and photos that are suppose to be making her look liikeable.

Too soon to tell. Greedy was a hit and exes and Run for the Hilld are doing well but I'm not sure why promotion has stopped. She seemed like she was everywhere for a couple of weeks before Christmas and now nothing. Her team need to promote her like she's the next MPG.

Her fanbase still is small but at least it's growing, a lot of her album tracks are still doing over 100k with small promo which is very good and also think later boosted some small hits like she's all I wanna be and that way to respectable daily streams numbers which is also a very good sign, she's only 20 and has a lot of room to grow... Idk why so many people want her to fail just because their favorite artists are starting to become legacy acts and she's outdoing them rn
