Instagram glitch duplicate pics

Featured Replies

I tried making a carousel post using several pictures. After posting it, the first picture got duplicated 10 times instead of showing the different pics. Has this annoying glitch happened to any of you? If so, how did you fix it?

This hasn't happened to me but I've seen it happen to so many other people. :deadbanana: Idk if it's a software problem or something but I use a Pixel.

It’s been happening to me for YEARS. I just delete the post and try again lol.

That’s so frustrating. It only just started happening to me. I hear people get different messy results each time they repost with pics being deleted, duplicated, or turned into black squares. I don’t want to annoy my followers lol. Instagram should’ve never been sold to META :chick3:

Yeah, sometimes it doesn’t even happen to me. And then it randomly does. Sometimes multiple times in a row. :skull:  It’s crazy they don’t care. It could be solved if they could at least let us edit the post afterwards. The black squares too :deadbanana2:

I was suspicious at one point it was because of my internet connection but idk if there’s any truth to that at all. And I haven’t really seen other people complain about it, so thanks for making this thread lol.

I think what would be great is if we could make our posts private for only us to see before we make it public for everyone else similar to Facebook, that way we can catch any errors.

My cousin texted me yesterday “so… your pics posted 10x.” Luckily she let me know within minutes of when my post went up otherwise I would’ve looked stupid all day lol.

Oh yeah, I’m so used to it now I always check after I post. I only ever really do collage posts these days; sometimes I check from a diff account too because sometimes it shows they duplicated for me, but then they didn’t actually :deadbanana2:
