Not school itself. I miss the lack of responsibility in high school and I miss the convenience of things to do/people to meet in college, but ultimately I enjoy working a stable 9-5 and having my even

  • Definetly I feel that there were so many missed opportunities that I've had also a lot of it was easier than what is going on with my life atm ย  It's not like I didn't know this wo

  • no ย  i dropped out due to bullying i received due to me being trans ย  things may not be going well now but id take today over that era of my life no questions asked

Honestly, yes. I love being in a learning environment. I didn't always feel this way, and I hate that I didn't take full advantage of primary school in the moment. I still have a couple of classes left to take in university, so I'm going to be able to have that experience againโ€”to some extent.

Not at all, I really donโ€™t like sitting and studying, I prefer doing things and working. I even had a nightmare a few months ago that I was back in high school and needed to study for a test and I woke up in a cold sweat lol. I still love learning but on my terms in my free time instead of in such a structured environment like school.

The one thing I miss is having all my friends near me instead of scattered around the country/world

Not one single bit-- I love adulthood.ย

I love being able to make my own money, drive my own car, rent my own property (well, I guess renting doesn't mean you "own" property, but, you get what I mean), choose the life partner I want to spend my life with, choose my own friends, and live my life how I want to.ย

In high school, you HAVE to show up to school until you're 16, but even if you wanted to drop out, you have to have your parents' permission, and I highly doubt your parents would be OK with a high school dropout. Not to mention, you have 7 classes, you HAVE to be in a building from as early as 7:30 or 8am (sometimes) until 3 or 4pm, juggle working weekends or how ever many hours a minor is legally allowed to work, the pressures of fitting in, bullying (not that you don't get bullied as an adult, but typically people have grown out of their HS ways by this point), and most likely low-self esteem/low-confidence.ย

Adulthood > high school, any day of the week, even as much as adulthood can absolutely suck sometimes.ย

No. You have no freedom. It's like jail.

Isnโ€™t that what work is too though?

i havent been to school in 14 years, I don't miss it at all.

No. Usually people who say this in my experience are kids who peaked at school and currently have no job.ย

I don't really miss school but I didn't appreciatie being carefree enough. If I could go back I would do things a lot differently.ย
