This doesn't need to be pushed as a full on single but this would be smart to release as a pre release/ hype song. Let's be real this album is probably 18-20+ songs long and Nicki will definitely release at least one more song before the album so I won't be surprised if the full song is released soon

I agree. But her not dropping it this friday and saying it's coming soon is making me think she actually wants to push this as the next single which would not be a good idea imo.

I don't know if that's it. I think it's more that if she drops it now, she'll already have dropped 4 songs off PF2 and there's still 2 more months until the album comes out.

I get that, but i feel like the next drop should not be another promo single but an actual single that gets pushed. The album is in two months, that's the perfect amount of time for a song to grow on radio and then have a repeak/new peak after the album boost.. that's how a lot of artists got their #1s recently. But i guess she wants to drop the next big single (maybe a collab?) closer to the album date to avoid losing the hype for the album release

I'm in the camp of hoping she takes the feedback from the performance to inject some more life into the actual cut. 

 

Maybe the actual song gets there by the final verse, and this verse is meant to be "chill" - collected, unbothered.

Ugh could you imagine if she has an even harder next verse with that energy 

It's already getting way more attention by the gp compared to LTISY. 

She can continue to wait a few weeks in order to have a visual ready.

She shouldn't drop so many singles. For rappers it's always best to just drop the album and let the GP pick the hits. The hype grows smaller with each flop single

Admit it, y'all want another SFG-esque smash for the next single. Well here's the reality, Nicki isn't a POP STAR, she will always be a rapper first. So y'all gonna take these urban singles & DEAL. 

 

Once Big Difference starts putting up #s I'm sure everyone's tune will change anyway. Never fails.

The lead (SFG) was as pop as it gets. But regardless, you're not the artist, therefore YOU don't get to dictate how she rolls out her art.
