Both crossover events between an acclaimed masterpiece and a pop culture juggernaut but who was bigger in your opinion

The March 20, 2020, release date for Doom Eternal came to coincide with that of Nintendo's Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Due to the demand expected for both games, and in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, GameStop decided to begin selling Doom Eternal one day earlier, on the 19th, to minimize crowding.[43][44] The stark contrast in tone between both games, combined with them being released on the same day, prompted fans of both series to celebrate the coincidence by creating light-hearted crossover art featuring the Doomguy and Animal Crossing's Isabelle as "best friends".

Barbie alone. We don't need the other fad to bring it down.

Doom Crossing seemed to only be recognized among gaming communities, the average person probably didn't know about it. Barbenheimer, on the other hand, is everywhere.

No idea what Doom Crossing is

Doom Crossing I fear

The power of Animal Crossing and Doom demolishes, no contest

Only heard of Doom Crossing because of Barbenheimer so Barbenheimer.

Wow a Doom Crossing thread on ATRL? Kind of iconic

I will say Doom Crossing, it was #1 in my heart

This has nothing to do with me having 50 hours on Doom Eternal, including Master Levels

Never heard of that other one, so Barbenheimer.

Barbenheimer for sure.

Animal Crossing chewed, spit out and then stomped on Doom. Absolutely no one even knew Doom was out

I was gonna vote for Doom Eternal until I realized the Doom part is a reference to the game and not to the pandemic.

Barbenheimer it is, then!
