Because it’s inauthentic. This indie pop sound has been so overdone since literally the beginning of this century. First we had The Strokes, then we had Arctic Monkeys, Vampire Weekend, it’s just like… do something new already

I listened to about 60 seconds and then had to turn it off. That guys voice is way too whiny for my liking, but I’m glad you like it.

Right I can’t get into this album at all  tho it took like years for me to get into notes so

About You is the only song i really got into

 

i used to listen to their music while stoned which is when it really clicked w me so maybe it’s just that i don’t smoke anymore which is why i can’t connect w their recent output
