Gaga's most difficult choreo

Featured Replies

I'm not talking energy intensive (Judas [?]), but just technically difficult dance sequence of hers?

Scheibe? Just Dance (all the spins and the grabbed-by-the-arms bow)? Marry the Night? Alejandro (I've always felt like the early part of the main chorus choreo does not match the beat at all...)?

Poker Face? I still don’t know how to do the hands till this day

  • Same. I feel like I'm being laughed at from afar anytime I try to do those arm rotations.

Back when I would do living room performances with her choreo, Telephone felt like a workout lol. I feel like that choreo was pretty intense for her.

Telephone and Applause are great examples of intense, workout type of songs, but they seem pretty simplistic to pull off from my view. I was speaking more on the little intricacies that make some of her choreos seem to look hard to master.

Probably Marry The Night. It’s hard to say though. Judas, Bad romance and Telephone are pretty “learnable” MTE in my experience has more to digest overall. You don’t see people replicating that one as much as the others.

I just watched a bunch of her choreo cuz why not and I lean towards G.U.Y.

Honorable mention for Judas.

Telephone inmediately came to my mind. All those jumps and squating and then jumping while squating all that while singing and on high heels and she's never taking a pause after performing Telephone :rip: i feel like they added the part when she gets carried to give her a breath.

Now technically speaking maybe Marry the Night or Love Game i feel like you need certain control of your body (that you get after dancing a while) in order to correctly pull them off, specially marry the night i feel like i could fall if i go that fast when they do the chorus part. Honorable mention: Babylon, love the choreo it looks amazing but it does not look easy to remember. Alejandro.

In all fairness she has always gunned for simple but iconic and memorable choreo, i can recall her early choreographer saying something on those lines (like hip and easy to mimic).

Gaga's legwork is often hidden in her videos. A lot of it is very armogrophgy-forward. Look at the Paparazzi editors cut. It's awkward.

Judas' bridge is just plain ridiculous though, I'd agree.

Not really seeing G.U.Y. as being difficult since the footwork is minimal.

G.U.Y. has hella intricacies tho! And there's choreo for the entirety of the song which not all of her songs have.

I guess. It's definitely fast, but like that user above said about her ex choreographer (Gibson) saying that it should be hip while being easy to mimic -- I think GUY's choreo fits perfectly back into that even though Richard was in charge.

Yes there's a lot of movement in Telephone! As far as it being "hard" choreo to master, not so much but you gotta keep up lol.

Alejandro choreo is nothing crazy tbh, it's effective and great looking choreo though.

Hmm, I stopped learning her choreos after Judas pretty much. Schiesse for BTW Ball looked intense though.

I still feel like her movements in the Alejandro prechorus are so off-kilter in relation to the rhythm of the song, but I do agree it looks magestical.

You mean this part sis?

Image of Hot like Mexico, rejoice

I live for it ngl. It perfectly matches the build up to the chorus, and it's very dramatic and sensual. Plus it looks and even feels so satisfying to do. One of my favorite Gaga choreos next to Judas tbh.

Like those background dancers eating that choreo makes me wet. :jonny5: They served. Gaga looks a lil funny and stiff doing it lol.

Babes I agree, I love it. It just seems hard to match up with the song is all. Like I've tried to do it along with the song and it never makes technical sense to me. She makes it look sexy and it's truly one of my favorite MV parts from her. That's why I'm so mystified by it. :rip:

no thats the easiest!

Why is no one saying judas - that is extremely hard and ritchie'd... i used to do all her living room MV copy, Judas and MTN were the only two i never mastered. I could do telephone easy, alejandro, G.U.Y.

None of her choreographies have ever impressed me. She’s a terrible dancer.

Why don't you burst some moves and show me, I'll sit and judge.:giraffe:

She's a perfectly if not above average dancer for a pop star. They're also not "her" choreographies, they are the work of the respective choreographer she hired for each song. You're off topic, bye!
