This summer marks 25 years since the two songs dominated the musical landscape. The Boy Is Mine spent 13 weeks at #1 on the Hot 100, while Iris spent a then-record 18 weeks at #1 on the radio songs chart. As you may know, Billboard didn't allow airplay only songs to chart at the time, so Iris wasn't able to chart at its peak. Still, Iris charted at #9 months after its peak, when airplay only songs were allowed to chart.

In your opinion, which song is bigger and better?

Not me starting TBIM trend :deadbanana:

The Boy Is Mine is the correct answer.

I can’t really vote as I think both songs are great in their own ways. This is such a random poll. :gaycat6:

Spotify Streams:

Iris: 1.23B

The Boy is Mine: 180M

Iris is much bigger

"Iris," on both counts. Rock will always be my first love, and it's just a legitimately better song.
