Uh... great instrumentals, beautiful instrumentals

There's too many uglies in there for it to be a good album but it has some of her best songs ever. Also, great instrumentals, beautiful instrumentals.

No, but it's not as bad as some people believe. 

No. But it's also not as bad as Slime

Idk about great but its good and yes much better than Smile. 

 

Tsunami, Witness, Power >>> 

It’s cohesively strongest in Katy discography and undeservedly hated by masses. Roulette, Witness, CTTR, Bon Apple Tea, Tsunami, Mind Maze are career highlights.

It may not be her strongest but it’s still good. Has some of her best songs like Chained, Witness and Act My Age

I think, overall, Witness was a higher quality album than Prism and Teenage Dream. It was unfortunately way less accessible sonically compared to the hit driven albums prior.

i've never listened to it in full till this day cuz even if there's songs that i bop to like Roulette it has some lows that really made me change what i was listening to 

 

I've listened to "Smile" more than 1 handful amount of times tho cuz even if it's somewhat bland (it is), it's a comfort album to work and listen to it with headphones without having to think about it, it's chill. no huge highs but also no huge lows. 

 

So yeah, for me Witness is her worst album cuz is the only Katy album that i've never managed to listen to it in full cuz it has songs that totally lost me.

Is it a great album? No. 
 

Is it a decent album? Yes. 
 

Witness, Swish Swish, Deja Vu, Power, Miss You More, Tsunami, and Pendulum are all great. 
 

Chained to the Rhythm, Bon Appetit, and Roulette are fun— just not as good. 
 

And then Hey Hey Hey, Mind Maze, Save As Draft, and Into Me You See are either mid as hell or downright terrible.

 

Witness is definitely Katy’s best album imo. I think it gets hate because of the Metacritic score, it flopped/underperformed, and the lows are really low. But if we’re putting singles aside, it does have Katy’s best deep cuts. 
 

If I were to rank Katy’s albums, it would go as follows:

 

1. Witness

2. Teenage Dream 

3. One of the Boys 

4. Prism 

5. Smile
