I think this qualifies? It used to play all the time when I was on holiday in Spain but it didn’t chart in England and only seemed to make an impact in a select few European countries.

It’s such a bop!

 

 

A Top 5 hit in Italy, ruled the charts in 2009 alongside Lady Gaga's Poker Face and Black Eyed Peas' Meet Me Halfway. Not bad for 90s Australian "Torn" one hit wonder.

 

 

I was also obsessed with this but it only charted in 3 countries… 

 

This song was inescapeable in my country and I lived for it.

also when i was living in Japan, i'd always hear this so h on commercials or as an insert song on talk shows. apparently it peaked at #3 there
