This week we got two pop songs released with big interpolations:

 

• Kim Petras released "Alone", which samples the eurodance classic "Better off Alone" and added a Nicki Minaj feature to her Dr. Luke produced single.
• Rita Ora called Fatboy Slim and both artists reworked his classic tune "Praise You" into "Praising You", a tribute to Rita's husband Taika Waititi. 

 

Which one was your favorite?

 

 

 

 

Rita didn’t need someone problematic to prove herself and served a whole banger, she easily wins.

Both are bad, but Praising You is at least listenable.

Ngl, I think I prefer Alone was generic as it sounds.

Honestly Praising You is cuter than I expected. I generally think Rita's stuff is terrible and Kim... is at least part of Unholy and has Sweet Spot. I don't think either are amazing but Praising You I'd actually choose to listen to again.

PY is better but I’m so over this trend.
