Cloudbusting by miles

hyperballad even thought both are excellent 

both are absolutely stunning, WHEW those string arrangements 

 

but honestly Cloudbusting wins 

 

I was obsessed with Hyperballad for awhile but it's not as... all immersive/appropriate for as many contexts/moods as Cloudbusting is. I can listen to Cloudbusting in any mood, any time of day, and I'll feel uplifted like I'm on top of the world. it is one of the peaks of baroque pop  I honestly think a more accurate comparison would be Cloudbusting vs. Jóga? but idk

Hyperballad is so beautiful, Cloudbusting is transcendent

Both s-tier, 11/10 tracks.

 

I shall have to go with Hyper-ballad though, I find the contents of it more moving. Cloudbusting remains a fantastic track though, better than several artists' discographies

cloudbusting takes it for me, but maybe its because I've listened to kate a lot longer than I have bjork. cloudbusting's opening line feels like a hug lol <3
