Janet Jackson and Christina come to mind. I hardly ever see them in relevant playlists compared to their peers.

Also any playlist honouring women in music, plus 80s and early 00s playlists. We would be here all day when it comes to the mood/vibe playlists.

It's no wonder the streaming stats of her 80s hits struggle even more compared to those from her 90s ones (+ "All For You"). Granted, the "Rhythm Nation" era is at a somewhat tricky position where the album was released in 1989, but most singles became hits during 1990-91. New Jack Swing as a genre was kinda caught between decades, which I imagine doesn't help matters.

 

Spotify's team should find a way to honour them regardless. 

Janet by far. She has less playlist reach than many 80s/90s artists who were far smaller than her. Compared to her actual contemporaries, she has a third of Madonna, Mariah and a quarter of Whitney and Shania.  
 

I wish they could fix that for her cuz her retention factor is higher than almost all her her contemporaries so she has potential to do really well streaming wise.
