These were the top searches on the forum last year. ATRL always says Normani is a flop and will never happen (which is probably true) although ppl keep searching for her here? Why is that? Also the other R&B girls like SZA, Jhene Aiko, H.E.R and Summer Walker have released music and are successful yet dont receive as much attention here comparatively based off this.

literally nobody on here is obsessed with her tho  the only time people talk about her is when people sympathize for how downhill her career went

that search thing isnt reliable. you know taylor, gaga, bey etc would be top 5 every month

It's the type of pop performer of the 1995-2005 era. When most of the people here were Kids so they like her. For same reason nowadays Kids and young people don't care about her cause they don't care of this kind of pop music performers. When they seem someone singing- dancing with 18 dancers around  (and it's not k pop) they think " my Grandma would enjoy this". 

 

Even k pop Is loved only by a specific group of Kids, It's not real the mainstream taste.

She gets dragged all over ATRL and social media every time she's involved in something non-music related, so there are people that still care and obsess over her, even if it's fueled by hate or constructive criticism. Meanwhile she's somewhere cuddling up with that hot American football player she's been seeing while she left us with Fair and nope'd out with no fcks given.
