I felt like Janelle Monae's dirty computer was aiming to be bigger than her previous two albums but it ended up doing about the same. However the visuals were fantastic

so odd how they give so much funding to them, when they aren't as successful

but acts like Brit and Gaga have been disappointing us a bit with their last projects visually and it almost looks like they get nothing (altho u could say internal problems are at hand there)

Her visuals have been so much better too imo.

Bionic’s visuals were flawless. The album package was her best too. She looks amazing on YLM video and I like her hair that era the most

Gaga’s only had 2 awful videos between her last 2 eras tho. MR & SL are truly bottom of the barrel & shouldn’t have left the cutting room floor, but the other 4 (PI, JW, ROM, 911) all range from great to among her best 

4 by BEYONCE. I know its not actually a flop but given it was preceded by IASF which is basically a Diamond album and succeeded by the record breaking ST era, it definitely was the Speak Now to her Fearless and RED.

 

She committed to that era FOR REAL. Gave it amazing visuals, busted her ass left right and center doing that RTW dance and Countdown!

PI’s video perfectly encapsulated the song’s energy & the cinematography is timeless. It’s aged very well.
MR video I won’t discuss.

JW was a lot of fun and sort of a return to form, but could’ve used better editing.

SL  idea I won’t discuss. 

I think ROM had a spectacular video; it reminded me of early 2000s pop/girl group videos. Beautifully shot, great effects, clean aesthetic.

And while I agree some Monsters do too much with the 911 video (saying it’s her best or top 3), it’s still excellent.

Tbh ROM had the best visuals ~at least in Chromatica, since JW may rival it~

but it was boring since everyone expects some kind of storyline from her

(I know SL was supposed to have that? But she only did it with 911, which I dont understand
