Fashion in general has become a little better with diversity on the runway + in their clothing options (sizing wise), partly because they have been so successful in Asian markets.

 

It'll be interesting to see if Seoul rises as a fashion capital in the coming years. Korean style, as evidenced here, is generally more conservative and elegant than say, Japanese streetwear, which tends to be a little more rebellious and edgy (and which has enabled Japan to be a trendsetter in fashion to the point where major fashion brands sometimes lose money with their retail shops but remain in the region to monitor trends they can then extrapolate elsewhere). 

 

In its current state, Korea is still used primarily for lookbooks / ecommerce rather than major fashion. 

Yeah right now Seoul fashion is only following the trend. And are sometimes late. The fact that the y2k is still popular there . 
 

Koreans Luxury brands like Miss Sohee and Gentle monster are very trendy right now, so who knows.

Yeah I’ve seen so many ads of this brand with Wonyoung. Truly the two most beautiful faces you can have, they need to do one together
