Antisocialites Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 why are K-pop idols getting invited to Cannes? 1 1
BigBangStan Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 Why is the Enhypen mv is so low budget? Are they not spending money on them anymore, the mini is good, tho

BoA (with Avril Lavigne) in 2006 to promote a film Jessica in 2018 and 2019 as brand ambassador for Chopard and Messika IU in 2022 to promote a film. Korean cinema is becoming more global so I think we will see it more often now. Krystal is attending this year due to her film being selected at Cannes for example. But as other big name idols sign ambassador deals, that will be a more and more common reason to see them there too.
WeFoundWill Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 Jennie is the only one who has a reason to be at cannes but It‘s great exposure for their respective fashion brand
youresotoxic Posted May 22, 2023 Posted May 22, 2023 bite me is kinda horrible i honestly think i prefer the duds from last year over this

Even by today's standards, SNSD achievements are still impressive considering they started the hallyu wave for girl groups.
