That can come if it continues rising in streams. It’s taking off on Hot AC radio and if RCA pushes on pop, it could happen.

It's all about payola, no money no TTH. Just give up or maybe RCA suddenly wants to invest in Alecia randomly :fan:

Hate Me and Runaway are right there like what gives

  • 3rd biggest 23 release in the UK, 1st from female and foreign artists, most downloaded album of the year.    Europe saving her ass this era.

The highs of this album are SO high, like Trustfall, Runaway, Hate Me, Feel Something, Last Call, even NGNDA

After NGNDA’s failure, RCA will not bother pushing Trustfall on pop.

I hope it can become a cute hit in Europe and Oceania but even for that the playlisting needs to improve.

I need someone to tell me if this is any good for a 1st day

P!nk's ninth studio album, TRUSTFALL (RCA), will debut in the Top 5 on next Friday's HITS Top 50. After one day of sales and streams, the set is tracking toward first week activity of 50-55k.

This is terrible by any standard

It's really brutal to see no one wants to listen to Alecia’s new music nowadays. Can't believe she sold 400k back in 2017 alone in the US and now she is struggling to sell over 50k. In 2017 she had the power to push WAU to the global Top 10 on Spotify and now she can't even enter Top 200.

Well hopefully it can rise on its own in streaming and maybe change their minds.

Dear RCA... Can you even look us in the eye.. And tell us why...

P!nk being treated like her 2000s peers finally ye sit sucks but at least RCA did a cute promo for the lead single back in November & at least they know that the UK exist made some cute promo to

Trust me it could be a lot worse

Billboard has changed so many rules, you can't compare 2017 to 2023.

Even without the bundle, she still sold almost 300k in the first week in the US in 2017. Everything has changed in just 5 years. :'(

Welcome to my world y'all.

I enjoy the album! Some of the early reviews had me worried, but overall it's actually my favorite album of hers in a while.

where did you get that 300k? she sold 408k in 2017 and 225k came from album-ticket bundling so it was 183k.
Billboard has changed not only bundle/tickets rules but also only counts 1 digital album per customer and 4 physical copies per customer. they no longer allow sales of physical albums with digital downloads to be reported as digital sales. every physical copy has to be shipped to customer...

Let‘s blame it on the February release. P!nk fares better as a fall babe, slightly spring babe.:swan:

So, I gave the album a listen. Here's my review:

Overall, the album experiments with quite a bit of genres. Most of the uptempo tracks stand out really well. The first half is quite strong and diverse in terms of sound, however the second half drags with too many ballads in a row.

Runaway is one of the stand out tracks and resembles the recent work of Ava Max and The Weeknd. The only straight up pop-rock song, "Hate Me", is okay but doesn't match up to the strengths of P!nk's previous work in the genre. As mentioned earlier, the ballads are very forgettable and bland.

Some of the lyrics in the album about empowerment and perseverance are beautiful. P!nk's vocals are great as usual. The album could have benefitted from some more uptempo tracks, and better collaborations. The only collaboration which was enjoyable was with First Aid Kit.

The album needs less ballads & more Runaways & Trustfall.

Favorite Songs: When I Get There, Turbulence, Never Gonna Not Dance Again, Runaway

Least Favorite Songs: Long Way to Go, Our Song
Rest are good to mid
Score : 6.3/10

1. Beautiful trauma.

2. Trust Fall

3. Hurt to be Human

for me!:heart2:

50k isn't bad honestly. Her touring is still amazing and her team has fumbled the singles already.

I don't think it'll have much longevity without a smash though.

Probably my least favorite album of hers on first listen

Gonna keep the whole album for a week or two but only have the urge to keep Our Song, Hate Me, and maybeeee Long Way To Go

Vocally there’s no issues obviously but it just sounds bland and like she doesn’t believe anything she’s singing.

obvi first listen so I could be fake and change my opinion lol

It’s what I would expect for a Chloe Bailey or GAYLE debut :clap3:

Those are actually very good #s. I expected 25-30k. :rip: Music selling is dead.

Guy, everything is extra at this point.

And how knows, P!nk usually wins in the long run. We'll see how it turns out.

She just needs to release Runaway as a single with Dua Lipa and Doja Cat featured on the track and then boom…:gaycat3:

I agree, the prediction is pretty good imo. No one buys albums anymore

Exactly. And streaming extremely driven by tik-tok, ig. Weird state of music industry.

Plus I’ll say it again, the US have terrible taste in music. Always behind the rest of the world

I've made my mind about the songs:

Love: When I get There, Trustfall, Turbulence, Runaway, Hate Me, Feel Something

Like: Kids in Love, Never Gonna Not Dance Again, Last Call, Our Song

Don't Care: Long Way to Go, Lost Cause, Just Say I'm Sorry

It may change though.
