Butter had 4 remixes first week, which is basically equal to 16 version nowadays... Later, even more remixes got released (the Megan one made it actually go back to #1), hell, they even added an alternative single cover version too

 

How is that different than Taylor saying "please buy all 4 versions"?

I'm not approving BTS (mostly their label) tactics but the switch in narrative is hilarious to see from across all fanbases in ATRL
