Taylor debuts desperation. Surprised?

Have some sense. How does simply releasing new music make him chart obsessed? Especially when he does nothing to push his music beyond maybe a music video or servicing a single to radio every now and then? Jimmy Cooks was the first non-single in Hot 100 history to debut at #1 and he didn't service that song to radio until almost 3 months later. Wants and Needs was the biggest song on Apple Music in 2021 (there was CLEAR demand for the song by the GP) and that song never got playlisting, a radio push, a music video or even any kind of acknowledgement from Drake after it was released. He just went about his day like it never happened.

Even now with Her Loss, today is the final tracking day of the week and he still hasn't serviced any song to radio or released any music videos. I can also throw in how he doesn't ever release remixes or do radio deals and he never in that bundles mess. He basically only ever drops new music and moves on to the next thing. How is that reflective of being chart-obsessed? Make it make sense.

Drake is different.

Omg the essays. So how Taylor releasing two remixes makes her chart obsessed? At least be unbiased.

*He never does anything to make himself appear more commercially relevant than he actually is* - Isn't Drake the same artist who put himself at EVERY Spotify playlist in 2018 on Spotify?:bibliahh:

And you are accusing her of being obsessed with charts as if this isn't Drake's second album release this year and third in 12 months.:dancehall3:

Even now with Her Loss, today is the final tracking day of the week and he still hasn't serviced any song to radio or released any music videos. I can also throw in how he doesn't ever release remixes or do radio deals and he never engaged in that bundles mess. He also never engaged in the 'basically-release-a-new-album-and-call-it-a-deluxe' mess either. He only ever drops new music and moves on to the next thing. How is that reflective of being chart-obsessed? Make it make sense.

Drake is different. He never does anything to make himself appear more commercially relevant than he actually is. If a Drake song/album does well, it's because his fans/the GP fully support it, not because he did anything to make it so. That's always been how he has operated so when you people talk about him like he's some pop girlie or one of the pop boys, I can't help but laugh because it only shows how little you guys know about his career and how he operates. He does the direct opposite of whatever the industry does. I mean, the 'roll out' for Her Loss has been him MOCKING the way artists usually roll out their albums. That tells you all you need to know.

Have some sense. How did he 'put himself' on those playlists? He never asked for that. That was ALL Spotify's doing because he's the biggest streaming act on their platform and they use his releases to promote their platform. He is a much bigger artist on Apple Music and never did anything like that.

Not to mention that CLB broke the Scorpion Spotify records with 4 fewer songs and no hit records upon release, proving that he never needed that silly exposure with the playlists.

Notice how you have no real response to what I said and have to bring up that silly Spotify playlisting mess because you know he never engages in any industry tactics? :rip:

Just stop speaking on Drake like he moves like your faves because he doesn't. His success is entirely organic and he never forces anything on the GP.

Taylor  broke the record with 13 songs only

The way you are always fuming over Taylor and will not leave a moment to call her out for imaginary things.

except for the fact that the bleachers remix is a new track with actual effort instead of those countless lyric video visualizer lyric video in another langue karaoke version of the same track :rip:

Imagine thinking Drake success is entirely organic but others isn't

Ok lol

the desperation is insulting megan the stallion or serena williams' husband for a quick lil headline. not a remix

The most consumed and most popular song of the week is Rich Flex.

Let's see if the Swifties are so worried this week about the most consumed song of the week being blocked by desperate stunts like they did last week with Rihanna. :eli:

You want the most consumed song of the week to be blocked by chart antics?

But last week you all were so worried about the integrity of the Hot 100. What happened?

Had all the energy for Rihanna when she was doing all she could to get the #1 last week but now no one should call Taylor out for her own shenanigans.

Talking about 'she only released these remixes for the fans!' like Taylor hasn't proven herself to be intensely chart/stats/accolades obsessed.

Maybe YOU should stop being pressed about my posts. Let's start there.

I responded to that user because they brought up the Spotify playlisting for Scorpion as an example of Drake being obsessed with stats and said Drake himself did that and I explained that he had nothing to do with that because Spotify confirmed it was their own doing.

I don't understand how insecure you are to mention Taylor breaking the record when I didn't mention Taylor at all in that post.

Yes, because Drake has a long history of needing controversy to have his music do numbers. I guess if tomorrow, Taylor drops a song taking shots at someone and actually mentions their name, she's doing it to push her music as well.

Good for her. I just think they're unnecessary, but hey, whatever floats her boat.

I dont like or understand them either, but who cares.

Just find it weird that she gets called charts obsessed for absolutely everything she does

I would HATE it if Anti-Hero would be #1 this week. Really hope that tweet about it's sales is wrong :rip:

It will get more than enough weeks at #1 on its own

She IS chart-obsessed. There's nothing inaccurate about that statement and her pushing all these remixes proves she never had faith in her own music to smash on its own.

And yet she's still desperate and chart-obsessed, now what?

Yes, completely ignore the actual reason why the album was delayed and make up your own theory as to why.

An obviously fake reason…
