There’s no debate. Sade’s extensive catalogue is one of the very best of all time despite only having 6 albums. No Anita record comes close to the slayage that was Love Deluxe.

I listened to Anita too, but my dad was a huge Sade stan before he passed. So the band stuck with me. 

Rapture is as good as any Sade album but then she just kept repeating the formula to me.

 

Sade has more great albums.
