waiT I’m kinda perched, although tracklist-wise this album is shaping up to be a mess

 

So I’m glad they included White Lies (which I loved) but I don’t see how it fits right after HIM (which I didn’t love), or on the same album for that matter. Also, yet another re-recording of Durch den Monsun is so random?

 

I’m also digging the cover art but it lowkey makes me wish they jumped on the current revival of early-00s pop-punk instead of the 80s inspired and electronic stuff (which goes entirely against the title and cover art, I’m so confused?).

 

Anyway it’s gonna have some bops for sure. Welcome back kings

they had a short moment with Kings Of Suburbia but literally everthing before and after was... questionable

I really enjoyed Kings Of Suburbia and of course Dream Machine but everything after that did nothing for me. I think they should work with different/better producers rhey have the major label backing but idk

and yeah a return to pop punk would be very fitting for the early 00's trend but well
