Usher's breakthrough sophomore album recently turned 25 years old. He's been building a quite a bit of goodwill lately following his second successful Vegas residency and his viral Tiny Desk concert, however, I still feel like, atrl doesn't discuss him very often. This is truly an album you album you can play from start to finish. 

 

 

 

Even though there were only 3 (hit) singles, he certainly could've achieved success with a fourth single with possibly Slow Jam (feat. Monica), Just Like Me (feat. Lil' Kim), or Bedtime.

One of my favorite Usher albums.

Nice & Slow and Slow Jam are underrated Usher classics and deserve more love and recognition. Top-tier R&B right there

i was actually listening to confessions and my way the other day. I know a handful of his hits, but I just assumed that his albums wouldn't be very good. but they were actually great albums. my way has a lot of great tracks, my personal favourite is slow jam with monica. confessions should've been cut down a bit to 12-15 tracks, but it's still a great album with excellently chosen singles.

His discography is quite excellent! Get into the rest of it, sis. Glad you enjoyed My Way and Confessions! I’m sure you’d like 8701, Looking 4 Myself, and possibly Here I Stand. Raymond v Raymond has some pop influences, but is R&B for the most part.

My way, 8701, Confession are his trinity, the creative and success peak.

After that it went downhill but he still has some bops here and there on later albums.
