The amount of Artist that have cited Stripped as an influence… Stripped sweetie, I am so sorry that an ugly ass ***** like this would even think to make this a comparison.

Complicated is bigger than Let Go. As opposed to Stripped, all the singles slayed

I’m going to give the edge to Christina. It feels like the blueprint to coming of age album for everyone. Both Demi & Selena tried to cover the album cover.

Stripped feels like it influence a larger range of pop girls & with Avril it feels like it influenced a certain type of pop girl.

Let Go has I'm With God so it automatically wins :gaycat:

Stripped is better but Let Go and Stripped equally impactful

Janet Jackson’s literal Declaration of Independence, Control, sweetie…

Better album: Stripped

More influential: Let Go

Stripped sounds like a mash-up of albums that were already done before. But I enjoy it more.

that's why Let Go sold more than Stripped? And Christina's selftitled?

and we could say the same about Let Go, from the biggest front woman of pop punk to chart topers Billie and Olivia but I guess Demi Lovato is a good person to influence too

and Stripped has Beautiful, Let Go has Complicated, I'm With You and Sk8ter Boi, you can even check actual numbers since Sk8ter Boi alone has more streams than Fighter and Dirrty :coffee2:

Let Go for all, it has almost twice as many streams as Strapped for a reason

but then again even Goodbye Lullaby stomps on Strapped these days

- Sk8er Boi is approaching 400M (more than any Xtina song from her own albums)

- I’m With You is approaching 200M

- 5 non-singles above 15M, 3 above 20M

- all songs on the standard edition above 10M except one (9.1M)

Your radio-driven singles artist fave wishes her stats looked remotely like this :lmao:

Let Go is bigger.

Let Go is better.

Avril is bigger.

Avril is better.

:1stplace:

Beautiful and Cant hold us down were really forward-thinking, turning the album into something else, bigger than music. also the song about her father was really raw, Avril as much as I love her, was a caricature at that point, very démodé.

This thread is about Avril Lavigne & Christina Aguilera. I’m unsure if you knew that? I was using my logic regarding only theses two artists since you know the topic is about them. :deadbanana4:

Let Go shaped millenials and gen z generations

The other era had zero impact outside ****hub searches

Yes it does. There’s nothing on Stripped that doesn’t sound like something else. It’s not a cohesive body of work that somehow shaped a generation or introduced something that started or contributed to a wave. Isn’t one song even a carbon copy of a Sugababes song? Stop it with the blueprint stuff.

I love Stripped, but I could tell you the artist each song was inspired by without blinking. “Loving me for me” is my favorite song and it’s pretty much a Jill Scott cosplay.

Let Go is and it isn't close. Let Go is a skipless album and deserves much more praise on here

In fairness I’ve never seen Let Go lose a poll on ATRL.
