This is a question to could apply to many situations

I think it's cute she tried sth out of her comfort zone, even if the result isn't that great (but it's not offensively bad either). I like to see artists celebrating genres that are not their strength.

I think it’s fine… like there have been worse covers than this

You would have had a hit thread if you asked what was she thinking when she cut her hair. People love to unpack that one. 
 

This cover is whatever. Not much to write home about. She liked the song and tried it out - it’s much more interesting than when artists cover songs that sound like they could be in their own discography and don’t change it up at all. 

Looks like she was just trying to have fun with it. I mean it wasn’t bad for someone like Katy who is extremely far from anything related to rap music. :swim2:

This one is great, but "Use Your Love" reigns supreme for me as Katy's best cover.
