How about Adele?

Do you think young gen will refer her as inspiration?

Of course. Adele is an acclaimed vocalist and the no 1 selling artist. Anyone would kill to have her career 

Adele has been around for 14 years now. It’s a bit surprising that not many have mentioned her as an influence. At 14 years into their career, most other pop girls have been mentioned by a lot more artists as influences than Adele.

 

That said, Sabrina Carpenter did mention Adele  as an influence, so there’s that.

No, even a lot of younger vocalists look up to Christina Aguilera or Beyoncé as opposed to Adele. I think the closest we got to Adele impact is Sam Smith. The thing is, people want Incredible vocalists that have something to say, not just break up ballads over and over. 

Honesty no, they might cover her songs but she won’t be as impactful as Xtina, Pink or Bey were with the generation before

Being a young vocalist is not really trendy right now so not yet

some uk acts have spoken about their love for adele before like little mix, mabel, raye and so on

Everyone listens to Adele. That’s why her sales are humongous. Old people, young people, people of color, white people, gay and straight. Her music is very relatable. She is just not as obvious.
