Netflix in general. Remember, Netflix launched Lizzo's entire career because her song was used in the background of a Gina Rodriguez movie and then it went viral

Because 1 song went viral due to an emotionally charged scene that audience connected with? 
 

That’s how it usually goes when songs are played in scenes audiences like. It happened with Euphoria, Batman (2022) etc.

And no, it depends on the song, and since RUTH is excellence, of course people couldn't get enough and search for it and play it more and more. Haven't watched ST yet, but I've seen a lot of rave reviews about that particular episode on social media, and we know this is one of the biggest TV shows this century.

It's a fantastic show but you should def start from Season 1. Every season gets better and better.
