people loved the camp ness of nicki back when she debuted. she was enjoyable and interesting when she had her alter egos such as Roman. Once she dropped the crazy outfits and wigs she still put the fun into her music and persona. 

 

Chun Li - Barbie Tingz was arguably the last time Nicki still showed us that she still gave us FUN in the music and it shows.

 

 

However now it’s present day and Nicki is seen as a meme queen of sorts for the persona she’s built her career off of.

Still it’s not put in the music anymore, as all her latest tracks have been more serious and overly braggadocio’s and about being the best. Do we think if Nicki brought back her fun self that everyone loved her for she would have more longevity? Discuss

Her ego took over a while ago

She felt pressure for not being “rap enough” when she was doing her camp thing. That’s the sad part, she dropped what made her unique to please the same people who tore her a new one. Now she gets irritated when people bring up Popnika when it’s like … we’re not even asking for popnika back we just want your raps to be quirky, silly and make us laugh again. We are tired of all the bars being about how she’s the Queen, she’s better than her peers, and the girls who have allegedly have beef with her.

because she is angry at life. angry at herself. angry at everything around her. she has deep rooted insecurities, stemming from her father burning down her house. it only got worse with the jelani pedophile scandal. she had to face public scrutiny like she never had before. so what did she do? she ran back to the past; she ran back to the people in her past who, for better or for worse (for worse) were in her life. Kenneth Petty. he is a comfort to her because he reminds her of simpler times; when she was walking up and down Broadway trying to sell her records to bypassers from her bin. yes, it was tough, but she had determination and grit then. 2022 Nicki has lost that fire. so she had to revert back to the days when she still had it. its unfortunate that her nostalgia for the past came in the form of her husband, but it brought her comfort... until it didnt. now she has wake up everyday with the realization of the man she married. this isnt 2002 anymore. this is 2022. and this is her life. so what nostalgia and comfort Kenneth may have brought her, it's gone. so what does she do? what a lot of people do when they are in unhappy marriages; have a baby. 'a baby will fix everything' they say. a baby will relieve Nicki of her sadness. thats what they all think. but it doesnt work. you are still unhappy. I pray Nicki gets a divorce, gets into therapy and works on her issues. I hope she can spend part 2 of this thing called life in a happy space.
