I like Give Me The Reason and his last album was really good 

I wonder when his going to announce it officially, I’m very curious about the album title and cover art

 

Oop, not him moving on from GMTR so quickly  Excited for the album though

Apparently the album is called 'Leap' and will be released on July 8th.

Ehhh what a ugly album cover 

Finally!!

That album cover photo is rather random. Seeing the photoshoot for the record makes me wonder why he chose this one as the cover... 

Also it's a shame that COMH is not on the album.

exactly...he has so many 10x better photos than this... and the graphic of the title is insanely ugly omg... I can do it for free for you mr bay...

That album cover and the huge title across it are not cute, but I guess it’s about the music  I hope it’s at least as good as his debut because from what we’ve heard so far it’s not touching Electric Light

For ‘Leap’, Bay worked with sought after producers and songwriters including Ian Fitchuk, Dave Cobb, Foy Vance and Joel Little in a mixture of in-person and remote sessions in Nashville and London, with songs recorded both before and during the coronavirus pandemic.

“I got home [from Nashville] on March 21, 2020, and two days later everything shut down,” he explained. “So I stayed home and we mixed and mastered the 12 songs that I had, thinking we were going to put them out. I found out over an excruciatingly long period of months that that was absolutely not going to happen.”

Featuring six songs from the Nashville sessions and six newer compositions, the album is made up of a balance between “light and shade”, according to Bay. “It’s a cohesive album, born out of the least cohesive time,” he said.

Just as I thought, the OG version of the album got scrapped and he just kept writing and recording new songs. That's why COMH is not on the record anymore. Now I'm curious what the original tracklist was...
