She’s never been a strong commercial force but she’s still very successful considering her 30M+ RIAA certifications which is a way better indicator of consumption than a chart position. 

She's top 10 on AM without Future's album bomb

 

I'm not sure why we're looking at Spotify numbers for this, we know this type of music doesn't do that well there.

Megan’s brand peaked with WAP release. She needs to reinvent quick cause no one seems to be here for her antics anymore 

The song is hard, I like it more than Sweetest Pie and her other pop attempts she's been releasing lately, but at the same time it doesn't scream smash hit to me either. But then again, I said the same thing about First Class when I first heard the full song and that's still smashing so who knows? Maybe a top tier visual will elevate it.

The song doesn’t hold up long after initial shock value 

Megan is talented but predictable. Artists can only release the same thing over and over and retain commercial domination for so long.

The song was good but it doesnt really have alot of replay value imo. The hook could have been better. However, its still stable on Apple which is a good sign.

She’s been giving me kind of one note since 2020 to be completely honest. Most of her songs have been, by and large, about her puss  Which is fun and empowering and all, but I want her music to show me more sides of her besides the fact that she’s hot, a bad *****, and has the GOAT WAP. 

 

the song is overrated imo, but she’s holding up well on apple music (despite king future’s album bomb)

It had strong start but playlisting and radio are abysmal. She needs to sign with lizzo and cardio label.

This weak drag  Normani released a pure R&B song. Hip Hop is the top genre of the moment and Meg still can’t get a hit in 2022 with Dua Lipa
