Yeah, April and Lotus. I did listen to I Don't Speak French and the Melanie C song, and they were fine, but April/Lotus kinda eclipse the original album for me.

The Melanie C remix was good, but I honestly couldn't tell her voice apart from Rose's  I need to relisten haha. The Just Two and Party People remixes were the only 2 remixes I thought were as good as the originals.

Interesting, it certainly feels more 'mature' and in line with her latest records, but she also had hundreds of songs recorded for Emotion and could've used one of those. Maybe she just doesn't identify with them anymore.

i shouldnt waste my time but i was just arguing on tiktok with someone (a native english speaker(actually multiple ppl)) who was trying to say that english speakers should be pronouncing the word 'louvre' like the french do and then someone else said we (anglophones) should also be saying "paree" not 'paris... ugh
