There's no real criteria because none of this is actually real in the grand scheme of things but they just have to have been referred to "the ___ Madonna" at some point by like... a major news outlet or something

Actually, I think the best way is to go with Doda. She is Madonna/Britney wannabe, she is controversial and has gay following. I personally hate her music but she has some bops and she is one of the most succesful polish pop singers. Much better choice than Maryla or Beata for sure. Reni Jusis is more like polish Kylie

Me too, she may be too... adult contemporary compared to what I've heard of others. So Lika could be a good replacement, and the receipts are there. But I won't insist since the length of her career, ended by Pugachova herself, definitely doesn't scream Madonna.
