If I see they were just careless, just spent a lot of their time just randomly standing around and weren't friendly, I'd probably just leave 2¢ as a tip. I did not get woken up to be asked to take bins out and both our bins were basically empty since Ive been the oke in charge past 5 days and their hasn't been any rubbish to put out

Not if they don't want to. To be clear, I don't believe that tipping is mandatory, nor should it be expected. Tipping adds up and that, in and of itself, becomes a whole extra bill. People don't always have the extra to spend. That's what it's ultimately coming down to, especially for how expensive the cost of living is becoming.

 

I know some people will cry and say that a tip should always be left. I don't care, I don't care, I don't care. No one should be forced or expected to leave a tip.
