mail companies do that to reduce trips. ive had multiple packages put on hold because they were waiting on another package later the same week lol

just today, i was supposed to get a CD package in the mail on saturday but it was put on hold cos i got a few more on the way the next day and got all of them today after work

Oh that definitely could be it since they are traveling hours or even state away. I remember getting a lot packages on the same day after Christmas and I was surprised
