Yes, WOMB was one of my fav albums of 2020  I even got the vinyl, which I rarely do

Don't you hate listening to a critically acclaimed album considered to be one of the best of all time and having it just fall kinda flat for you?

That's a familiar feeling though I'm not going to name names. Sometimes it might be worth going back to it later to see if anything changes, sometimes it's ok to admit it's not your thing. It can be annoying to feel peer pressured over music, I actually think one's music taste is a very intimate thing that shouldn't be questioned or derided (unless the person is very loud about it and drags everyone else, in that case you could make a joke or something).

Well, I definitely prefer INUTY, Unison is ok, it's giving Ayuma's fairyland (as in I don't see what the big deal is). I'm personally team #Heirloom when it comes to the non-singles.

 

Saw you give 0 to Where Is The Line, that was nasty work. We love an angry bop. But someone giving Pagan Poetry 0 was the nastiest, would've been my 11 probably.

 

Can't recall what that Dystopia song sounds like, maybe one day I'll be in the right mood and check it out.

I'm going to give it another listen as it's a pretty short album and I was kinda groggy last night so maybe I wasn't fully appreciating it, we'll see.

Not alone  those were my faves too (especially Enjoy) along with Army of Me. Hyperballad is very pretty but somewhat underwhelming. The backend of the album just felt forgettable.

ghrhhydgrgd I had no idea people like Where Is the Line  I can get behind some of the angry songs, like Pluto and Declare Independence, but Graves put it best how WITL just sounds like pure anxiety (positive for him, negative for me )

 

Future Forever doesn't have any flutes  but it is quite minimal in general, so I can see people thinking it's boring

I don't mind the flutes but their extensive usage made the album kinda samey. Not everyone can be Joanna Newsom and get away with utilizing mainly one instrument.

i think headphones was the song that really got me into Post lmao i love it. a lullaby for me

 

like its literally perfect for an album ending. like a gentle fadeout of the ending of a song

When you don't want to make a phone call so badly that you trick another person into doing it for you and they didn't even realize they got tricked since they technically called their friend, and that friend resolved everything.

Stuff like this is why I don't really engage with stan culture beyond memes and inside jokes (and even then, it depends on which fan bases don't take themselves too seriously)

Oh wow, so I'm not the only one who doesn't really care for Post & Debut that much. They are by far my least listened to Björk-albums and I kind of have to force myself to listen to them.

No one said anything about debut but I snuck it in anyways.

2 years ago today I was texting my best friend about our summer plans. Hiking, camping, drinking, etc. 

 

Little did I know his dad would be calling me in less than 48 hours to tell me he was gone. 
 

I still haven't deleted our texts yet, no matter how many times them therapists (and friends) say it would be good for me. 

But anyways, let your friends know how much they mean to you daily because one day they won't be there.
