so at work yesterday evening I had the URGE to do something impulsive once I clocked out…

I hit up several friends to see if anyone, deadass, wanted to go to my FAVORITE hot spring with me for a night of relaxing by the moonlight! my friend (let's call him E. we've been friends/FwBs for a decade now! we met in college originally) was the only one who was fully down (fine by me! love him) and so we made plans for him to meet me at my apartment. before that though, I had a stressful and f*cked up mini-situation. so as many of you know, my ex Colorado best friend/ex roommate hates me now and turned several people in my neighborhood against me. well, as I was driving my car through my alleyway after my last day of work of the week, they spot me and simultaneously flip me off. it's immature and ridiculous so I take the high road and (fortunately I'm also wearing my car sunglasses) don't even dignify them with a look in their direction or a response. I just look away and drive around them. it hurt but who here is actually acting like an adult even though he's the only one in this now-broken friend group who hasn't yet reached 30? oh right, it's me

after that mess though, I met up with E and another good friend of mine and grab chipotle real quick. then I drove E and myself 2.5 hours to Glenwood Springs, which was an insane drive to do as my first ever mountain drive in my own car bro it was scary! so windy and winding and dark and the speed limit freaked me out man! too damn high! anyway, we finally get to my favorite hot spring at 10:30ish pm. it's clothing optional so, obviously, I get fully naked I mean I'm a bad boy after all, is anyone surprised?

I did some calculations and we were genuinely in the f*cking hot spring for 8.5 hours straight dude our hands were SO pruny and my rings and one of my necklaces are stained black from the sulfur and chemicals in the hot spring lmao! also we had so many crazy convos with so many (also sexy) strangers throughout the night into the morning… damn, my life is truly a rollercoaster sometimes! alright it's 1:31 pm but nighty night y'all! time for Joe world to SLEEEEEEEP
