Despite what her discography turned into later, Alizée was far more talented and innovative than Britney imo (artistically, but one could argue that was largely Mylène's doing). Lorie fits the bubblegum pop and later electropop archetype perfectly for a point of comparison. Once you listen to a few of her songs and see the videos, it's unmistakable!

Well, I'll consider that. Alizee is probably winning if she stays, so with her gone, things might get more interesting.

Listened to that Joanna girly someone referred to as the new Mylene and idk, a bunch of her songs may have scratched the itch, but she was mostly giving an edgier Angele. You just can't replicate an artist like Mylene, though that's the problem for the upcoming generations.
