like, I know we agree on multiple occasions, but the first week didn’t even end, they are not doing any promo in Korea and as far as we know the sales issue might be up to YG being s*** company and not sending the albums right away  wait at least a week or two before pressing submit on the posts like this

What other girl group has been as consistent as BP, honest question? Do you expect them to be a wall and top the charts like Big Bang or BTS. Aespa, IVE and New Jeans are new ggs and their future is not certain, honestly you all find any way to discredit Blackpink, Pink Venom and Shut Down will probably end like 2 of the biggest songs of the year in Korea looking at their longevity.

Aespa standards were higher after Next Level and Savage and a top 10 on Melon for a week doesnt make it a hit 

I don't think they'll get outsold by Twice. Last minute funds will probably pull through. With that said, there's a good chance they won't do more than SKZ in US (115k) in the first week, which is ultimately too funny to me

Girls was called a flop (not that I agree with it) because it tanked compared to their previous titles and while all the 4th gen girlies snatched hits (Sneakers, Love Dive, After Like, Attention, Hype Boy, etc). Even their own b-side is having better longevity.

 

Shut Down and Pink Venom are both HITS in Korea and they're breaking records WW, so yes they are indeed the #1 GG in the world.
