    I remember listening to this song as a child and finding it so beautiful. It came out shortly after I experienced a traumatizing move from my first childhood home. Years later, I've just moved in with my lover after moving nearly 10 times in the past 10 years. It has been so tumultuous and strenuous on my soul and has made me feel so unstable, but listening to this today I finally feel like I made it home.

    It's such a shame she actually performs none of it live anymore even her other major label albums get crumbs she hasn't even acknowledge nolita fairytale in like 10 years…
