Beyonce did the exact same thing for the exact same family (different sibling’s wedding) in 2018. Of course they don’t need the check. They probably think “if I can perform for free at the Oscars/Grammys/whatever, i can perform here and at least get paid”

If she really doesnt release this year but we see she is willing to rehearse and perform at a random wedding in India will tell me all I need to know about her 'passion' for music

all of these rehearsals and tracking the dancers across europe was for a pre-wedding performance for some indian billionaire that we don’t even get to see, yeah she’s dead to me 

 

we really thought it was for the olympics or new music, turns out she just wants money

 

if she doesn’t release anything this year (which seems likely atp) then the time will have LONG passed for new music. if there’s no new album on her spotify page by 1/1/25 then she should just go ahead and formally announce her retirement. she already disappeared from every “most anticipated albums of the year” list this year because everyone already assumed that she quit singing. doubt gen alpha even knows she used to be a singer at this point
