I would like so much to see her do carpool karaoke. I hate Corden but it would just be epic with her. I can't believe Adele just did her 2nd one and Rih has never done it. It would be a gift before she disappears due to the 2nd baby.

Just doing the Super Bowl off old music makes sense, but to then embark on a rumored tour/ with major festivals lined up without new material doesn’t. 
 

An album exist it’s just a matter of her agreeing to release whatever version of it.

I don't get why they didn't release a droplet with the Superbowl then. I mean they knew the album wasn't coming anytime soon, the comeback hype was already "ruined" with Lift Me Up. just feed us (+ maximize the superbowl hype)

ikr? makes me think there was never an album or music planned or made to begin with, just a legacy tour.

This was the year. I think she was planning R9 for this year due to all the festival and the rumored tour.

She was probably planning on doing festivals this Spring / Summer, R9 release in the Fall and a World Tour in 2024.

 

I'm sure we'll still get all of that, but the pregnancy threw them off. And now they're having to re-plan it all.

We'll just have to remain patient. 

Superbowl (non pregnant) Glastonbury and Coachella? R9 would have dropped sometime after the SB for sure. I highly doubt she would have done Coachella and Gladstonbury without new music to perform. We really missed out this year huh  

 

Although I still don’t think she was gonna tour this year though (if she wasn’t pregnant) 

Y'all would be so disappointed after all the festivals and concerts she would be doing without a sign of new music! She was obviously not pleased with the material she recorded all these years (or she just changed her mind on the direction of the album). Being on the road for the concerts while being a mom and entrepreneur, her "free" time to record an album would be non existent. I think I prefer the current situation. I need new music before her going on a tour even if it's for 10 or 50 dates. A ****ing proper new era!

Exactly. Coachella and Glastonbury would've been perfect to celebrate her iconic discography, following the Superbowl.

She could've released R9 in Q4 + announcing a World Tour to tour that album for 2024.
