guys her video makes me sooooooooo emotional omg    we have grown old together as a fanbase. we were just teenagers & most of us are adults in their late 20'/30's now.

I had a dream about the Halftime Show, well it was more like a NIGHTMARE! :chick3:

I was at a School Super Bowl Party for students and teachers, I don't really know why I was there, but as soon as the first half of the game ended and they started preparing the stage, the School Principal starting doing a ******* raffle with more than 20 prizes, and she was taking her sweet time. :deadbanana:

I was so anxious, desperate and upset because I wanted everyone to shut the **** up and get ready to enjoy the show, and they were doing their ******* raffle standing in front of the screen. :doc:

I saw the Apple Music Halftime Show logo on the Screen, and finally everybody stopped what they were doing, and turned up the volume. The stage had many layers around the game field. A lot of lights and dancers. She started singing Consideration with SZA appearing, but it was like a mashup between Consideration and Shirt.

It was only for like 1min, and then she said: Ok, Calvin Harris, Are you ready to turn that beat up? And we found love started playing and everybody on my Super Bowl Party got up and were dancing, but then.........:gaycat7:

A fight started happening between the people on my party, and they turned off the TV to stop the fight. After 10 minutes of commotion, they turned on the TV back again and the show was almost ending with Rihanna walking on Stage with a lot of models promoting her new exclusive Savage x Fenty Collection. She didn't even say goodbye or thank you, and the show ended. :dancehall2:

I woke up and I was feeling really angry of those people that I don't even know, and very disappointment in Rihanna for doing a Savage X Fenty show instead of singing. :ace: By the way, she had an outfit like this at the beginning:

Podcast as something like a radio interview only? Do big celebrities do proper televised interviews anymore?

Well podcasts are popping lately and they are usually longer and more in depth so not complaining… My guy better ask the right questions tho. i need her CORNERED.

I love it when artists join podcasts, especially small-ish podcasts. They tend to get comfy and drop some very interesting nuggets. Hoping she gives us some clues about the SB or future plans overall.

I hope she'll give us more insight into the material that she has recorded over the years and what made her change plans.

And of course what her plans musically are after the Superbowl.

This would be nice. However, I’m not sure that she even recorded anything at all tbh. I feel like she may have been lying, or maybe she had plans, but it fell through.

It would still be nice for her to talk about what happened though. Especially since I am pretty confident something was planned for 2019 and she talked about the Reggae thing for a couple interviews along with some producers confirming it was done and finished. I think because it is Apple MUSIC and the interview should be focused on her music career, it would be the appropriate time to discuss. I understand her shutting it down at Savage/FB events but this is time to talk MUSIC.

Yeah I couldn’t agree more. There were more than empty rumours floating in 2018/2019, especially when that Rolling Stone article was released. It was extremely meticulous in laying out the sheer number of people she was working with and all the work that had been done. It was certainly a piece approved by her team imo. It described her as being nearly complete with a dancehall project and that she had been in the midst of a pop project. I get the impression she was recording actively back then. But clearly she was unhappy with that work so I do want to know more.

The thoroughness of this piece… it was definitely done in collaboration with her team and it followed her Vogue 2018 cover story a few months prior where she first touched on a reggae album. Whatever was happening, it was clearly well in progress based on this… hmm.

Agreed, I have a feeling it’s primarily going to be about the SB though and the last few months of preparation for it and a few vague answers about new music :rip: knowing Rih I highly doubt she’d talk about the scrapped 2019 plans.

Not me having hope that we could be getting R9 in a matter of weeks. I know she’s gonna crush all my dreams tho.

:weeps:

I’m pretty excited for her to be on that podcast, finally an in-person interview that will hopefully be detailed! Even if she doesn’t spill anything about R9, I’ll be happy with just hearing her talk in depth about her old music tbh. Like I’m so interested in knowing what she thinks of her albums now that a decade plus has passed since most were released.

While I understand why she hasn’t spoken about R9 in the past few years, I do feel a certain type of way about her NEVER really talking about her past music. I guess she’s not really been out there to really be asked, but I’m hoping she takes this opportunity to talk about her catalogue in a deep, retrospective way. Here’s to hoping lol. Ultimately though it depends on how deep the host dives into her albums or specific songs.

Releasing the album exclusively on apple music would be such a terrible decision, even if it's just for a week (or a day, really), so hopefully that won't be the case.
