I could see it being a cool compilation video of her 20 year career if she isn't tethering this to R9. I hope it is connected to the album but considering that this is her 20th anniversary, it could simply be a celebration of her legacy.

Just responding to the tea in here about that date for the rumoured London dates announcement. We know Glastonbury will be any day now.

Woah a lot of speculation of an announcement being imminent. Curious how she'll promote the London dates. Will it be connected to the album? Celebrating 20 years of her career? Hmmm. March 10th can't come sooner.

Hmm I wonder if this is a situation where it's on the cusp of 8x platinum but is just falling short. I figured GGGB was 8-9 platinum by now but I wouldn't be surprised if she re-updates later this year and it is. GGGB was last certified 6x platinum back in 2018! Surprised it didn't go up that much with the SB boost as well.

It would be amazing to me if she has managed to complete the album with little to no leaks about her studio time, meeting with writers and producers, recording the music, filming a lead music video, the artwork etc.

I really would need a ramp up in leaked whispers about the album from credible sources (kinda like how HitsDailyDouble has hinted at previous Rihanna releases including Lift Me Up) to fully buy it. I'm not sure if she's angling for something to commemorate the 20th anniversary of her debut or the 10th anniversary next year. I do feel like (barring another pregnancy), she is reaching the point where she feels ready finally. Her businesses and her family have grown up a bit (to the point where she can make such a commitment to tour as well). My question is: What is the latest date she could possibly announce the London shows and Glastonbury? I'd like to know what date to look out for to see if there is any hope in that.

Whatever was happening, it was clearly well in progress based on this… hmm.

Yeah I couldn’t agree more. There were more than empty rumours floating in 2018/2019, especially when that Rolling Stone article was released. It was extremely meticulous in laying out the sheer number of people she was working with and all the work that had been done. It was certainly a piece approved by her team imo. It described her as being nearly complete with a dancehall project and that she had been in the midst of a pop project. I get the impression she was recording actively back then. But clearly she was unhappy with that work so I do want to know more.
